Ah! Didn't announce it yet. It's not a fully-functional replacement for the website -- more of a supplemental utility. I use it to upload photos/videos to the site. Videos show up automatically, photos need to be "copied" in from the media tab. I'll turn this on for your account.
Record book enhancements: much faster and you can now edit categories/subcategories/records for reorganization.
I tore the lateral meniscus in my left knee last Tuesday doing Turkish get-ups. I was pretty tired and had missed a string of workouts due to travelling, so I wasn't focused. Alas, I'm having surgery this Thursday, and the recovery
should only be a few weeks.
Drew -- I may be in San Francisco next month. As for Rochester, I went to RIT in 2000 for Computer Science. I assume you did too? 2001? I bet there was a time we overlapped. The endless cold weather and Rochester Depression (tm) sent me packing in 2002. Let me know...
I was really sick on Monday and yesterday; I'm feeling better enough today that I'm going to do today's WOD this evening.
Wow, my head is really somewhere else this week. I even locked my keys in the car earlier this morning. Today's workout is posted. I have an admin tool that grabs the workout, but I still manually enter the records/results/tags. I'm going to setup a reminder system. Thanks again.
Yeah, I did the WOD on Friday before heading up to Napa with my family for the weekend. I missed my first WOD (Sunday) since starting CrossFit for real at the end of March! I've also been entering info from my iPhone, since my new apartment *still* doesn't have working internet.
Thanks for your comment. It's actually a timezone issue. These guys are over in Iraq and so on their calendars it's actually showing up on the correct day. I'll resolve this soon...
All fixed. You can now edit height/weight/birthday in your profile and these fields will be autofilled as you requested. Here's a link for you to verify (once you've made those edits): http://www.21-15-9.com/users/10/calendar/4/30/2009?from_wod=1
I was working on the site yesterday -- that may have been why. Can you try to repost? I'll pay attention to the logs...
Thanks for the props - Murph is definitely the toughest workout I've done in a long time, if not ever; hopefully I follow your lead and drop 20 minutes off my time over the next year. Thanks for fixing the records - I really look forward to using this site and seeing other folks join up as well. It ought to be a great resource for comparing performance on workouts.
Record links are fixed. Those pages still need a bit of work, but they're not crashing anymore. Good work on Murph yesterday, too. One of my favorites -- http://www.21-15-9.com/users/1/records/59-murph
