| Notes |
Another slow and exhausting morning workout. At the Level 1 Cert, Dave Castro spent some time discussing what ‘constanty varied’ means. The time of day you work out is certaintly a considerable factor, but for the last two years I’ve almost always worked out in the evening. I’m noticiably slower in the morning, but races happen to be at 11:30am, so it would be to my benefit to adapt to earlier efforts. I’m in a much better mood when I start the day with a work out, too. Just got some jump ropes in so I’ll be integrating a lot of double unders into my warm-ups and workouts. Also noticed how certain Crossfit Games WODs included toes-to-bar instead of knees-to-elbow movements. These ripped my hands up. |
