  • 10 deadlifts
  • 7 ring dips
  • 5 power cleans
Notes

I’ve been focusing too much cycling and its starting to show. I’m not pleased with my performance tonight. I took way too much time in between movements and ended up cutting the workout down to 5 rounds from 10. It’s also worth noting that I haven’t had a quality rest day in a couple weeks (back-to-back race weekends). I’ve been focusing on improving my diet and from what I’ve read, the first three weeks will have a negative effect on performance. Regardless, I’m going to start to integrate Crossfit back into my training program. I had no intentions of stopping, but cycling got in the way. This is the longest I’ve gone without consistent Crossfit workouts in two years. Proper nutrition and Crossfit are the foundation — I must not forget that.

Good to hear an endorsement of CrossFit years out. I've only been doing it a few months and still think it's the best thing in the world - hopefully it'll stay that way :-)
