Hi Adam. Thanks for checking in. It has been difficult for me to exercise lately. School has been kicking my butt. I'll be around more consistently when summer comes though.
And since you bike a lot... Do you have any recommendations for someone looking to buy their first road bike? Thanks!
Adam, this website is great. Thanks for creating it. I am TDY at Tyndall AFB and this site is really convenient for tracking my WODs. God bless.
I like the (new|thing I previously missed) link to the named WOD. Looks like there's an encoding issue when results are posted, though—the link shows up as raw HTML:

I'm back. I'm going to start selectively doing scaled CF workouts again next week. Thank Science for modern medicine.
Hey Adam.Just a little problme...every time I try to add a new record (i.e. not via the "new workout" but via the "record book", it says there is a problem when i submit it. Can you fix it please? Thanks Mate!
Happy New Year, Adam. All the best, and let's hope for continued growth and success of this site. I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting my workouts.
Thanks man. I'm a featherweight, so anything over 100#'s I'm happy with. :) Great work with the site. Got my wife hooked now.
Hey man, I'm finally done with school and getting back in to the gym... has anyone had problems over the last few days with logging workouts? A few times I would click to submit and it would give me an error, saying that it couldn't load the page. My connection was good (I was able to open and browse other webpages)... Thanks again for providing an awesome free service.
Hey Adam, all well here. How about you, you doing okay? Answer to your question: I fly the Boeing 747-400 for Cathay Pacific Airways. I'm based in Europe and operate primarily out of Frankfurt.
Thanks man....it is very depressing but I have a strong support group at my affiliate. Everyone here is helping me limp through it. I am not use to not being able to do something
Hello Adam! All well my side, buddy. Hope you're keeping well. I'm back at work after 2-months' leave, so my workouts are now purely dependent on my flight schedule. None the less, I'm still getting fibe or six sessions in a week.
I injured myself doing an iron cross. it was the 4th one I did that day and my delts transposed and strained my pec attachment and biceps tendon.....I thought I really screwed up and tore something. I have a competition in November and trying to let it heal for that
Thanks! I'm glad I found this site. Its a lot better for keeping track of my progress than Microsoft Word is!
Hey Adam....I'm still working out. I've just been a lil busy the past month. I've started a new job, moved, and in the process of remodeling our new home. Internet just got hooked up so, I'll be back in the mix. I found some people here to crossfit with so I can really keep myself honest.
Hey Adam,
Any chance you could add a RESULTS and RECORDS entry option for rowers that is formatted: DISTANCE/TIME and TIME/DISTANCE but allows time entries in the minutes, seconds and seconds-decimal format (7:29.6)?
Tried emailing you today. Just bounced back. Here's the short version: Do you think you could add rowing to the workout options? Thanks pal!
Hey man! I've been using the site for a couple months and still enjoying it. Random question: the counter tracking the number of workouts went from 1K to 2K in just a month, but seems to have slowed down significantly since... Any thoughts as to why?
Looks like I've got a ways to go to hang with these jokers. . . This site's fantastic, the whole CF community owes you one (or 21)
Hey Adam, still around but on leave and busy as crap. Moving and traveling has eaten all my time. I raced a good tri that I'll log soon, but will be getting back into routine in a couple weeks.
Adam
Site has been great. Thanks for doing this. Glad I am only running tomorrow. It is hell to get old. These CF workouts are nuts.

Gotcha, just figured it out! Then there's a minor wording issue in the email: "Accept or deny the request from YOUR profile: [link to THEIR profile]". And a minor thing: confirming one friendship confirms all of them despite there being one link per confirmation.
I'm brand new on the site - really like it thus far. I noticed that when someone tries to add me as a friend, it says in the email alert to go to their profile. In their profile under "Friends" it says that friendship with them is pending, but there's nowhere for me to actually accept the friend request. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks!
Seems like the last couple of times I've tried to post the results from here to the crossfit.com main site, the posts have been rejected. Just wondering if knew anything about this or had any other reports of this happening.
Damn I didn't know that it was that complicated. I was doing the off-season, but I just did them as Rx'd from the site, so I don't know whether it was pro, am., collegiate, or what-have-you. I'm actually going to do the WODs from www.mikesgym.org for the semester now to work on my OLY lifts, so you don't have to worry about putting that stuff up there. Thanks anyways though
Thanks for keeping tabs on me - I was away on vacation, first a few days with friends in Berkeley / San Francisco, and then visiting my wife's family on Long Island. Congratulations on passing the 2000 workout mark - it must be very gratifying to see the accelerated growth in the number of athletes using the site and the number of workouts logged.
Hey is there any way to get the xfit football wods up on the site to post results for? That would be awesome cause I'm switching over to that for the semester
Could you put up today's CrossFit workout? If I get a chance this week, I might explore Ruby and make a scraper for crossfit.com to grab the workouts for you. I just need to learn the equivalent of WWW::Mechanize in Ruby.
sorry adam! i started school this week, plus ive been spending a lot of time learning to cook paleo meals, so i havent been keeping up on tracking my workouts. ill do better!
Been busy with school. Mostly been doing Army PT, almost no Crossfit over the last 2 months or so. I plan on getting back in to it when I have the time.
once again, thanks for this site! now my trainer can see not only what i am doing in class, but what i am achieving outside of cf.
My father welded on motor graders for Caterpillar for some 37 years, so yes, you could say I know an experienced welder! the pics you have posted are pretty good. If you don't mind taking a couple more, that would be great!
I now have garage envy....that is a badass setup! Since I will have a nice heated two car garage at my disposal in about a month, do you think you could share the blueprints for your PU bar station...pretty please?!?!?!
That's a sick garage set-up you have there. I'm at my parents house for the summers and at Oklahoma State during the semesters so the stuff I have here isn't too intense.
hey admam thanks for the site this is going to great for helpping me get abck into the swing of things
Thank you for the welcome, Adam! This site is the perfect resource to keep track of my progress and compare to others. I'm going to recommend it to my CF buddies. Thanks again!
Thanks Mate. I found the site after someones post on the wod comments. This seems like a cool site and will help motivate me to start up crossfit again. (i started a week ago but then I got ill so I'm trying to get better quick so I can start properly!) I like the way it automatically puts in the crossfit stuff on your workouts. How many peeps on this site at the moment?
Hi. Thanks for the welcome. Just wondering if this is your site. It's fantastic. I used to use google calendar to track all my x-fit, but this seems way more intuitive/dynamic.
Hey, I got a comment asking where I'd been for the last month or so. I've been on leave back in the states, which was a good change from Iraq. Thanks for asking.
I'm amazed with the new stuff on the site. Awesome work man!
Hi Adam. I'm recovering from a little injury - I was doing box jumps, caught my shin on the way up and opened a nasty cut. The staples come out in a couple of days. Should be back at it pretty soon.
what's up Adam. I was asking if you could explain the workout for today. 1-1-1-1-1-1 thrusters : am i supposed to time myself or just lift what i can with good technique.
Been busy lately, been hitting the books for school the last week and a half... Trying to get back in a good groove.
Tried to upload a photo from yesterday's mud run, and I'm getting a 500 error. I tried to upload it both to the media section of the workout, and also to the images section of my profile. Thanks.
I like the site, very easy to record WOD's...
I don't like my profile pic, and I am getting an error when I try to delete it. Any thoughts?
Thanks for keeping the site free and easy to use.
Ahh, timezones - that makes it a much more complicated fix. I hope Ruby's timezone support is better than that of PHP; I had to do some TZ work for my company's a few weeks ago and it was...not the most fun thing I've ever done.
Small bug - the links from the main page for the CrossFit.com WOD always go to the person's calendar for the day of the WOD, with an anchor to the workout ID, even if they did it a different day (wrekemtek, Rich Messenger did Kelly on the 29th) breaking the links.
Just wanted to let you know that I really like all the features you've added and improvements you've made over the last couple of months. The integration with the CF main site is great -- there were 4 of us who posted our workouts to the CF site today from 21-15-9.com, It's great to see the ever-growing number of athletes using the site. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the explanation on how to set records and whatnots. Probably should've been able to figure it out on my own (lol). This site just got more valuable to me.
Hey man. Thanks for adding a "weightlifting" category. I tried using another site to record my workouts, and even though it was also supposed to be CF friendly, it was worthless compared to 21159. Thanks.
-dave
I've been doing alot of just plain weightlifting, just trying to get cut. If you could add a weightlifting category that would be great! thanx
I thought I was doing that duathlon... but just was informed that I will be attending a wedding that weekend by my ladyfriend... oh well, there will be more.
the team had Labatt's Blue - I declined... more of a ginger beer guy! Quick question - when you do a WOD a few days late (as I always seem to be) and post to the mainsite board, does it go up on the correct board or does it post to today? Just curious... 13K trail run this saturday... oh and thought you might like this - http://www.heartrateup.com/dirtyduathlon61409.html - come on out!
I like the new prompt to post to the main CF blog!
Minor problem: the link to the blog page opens the current page (the workout that I just entered here), rather than the blog page.
Feature request: Could I add my sex/age/height/weight to my profile and have those auto pulled?
Just noticed (and used) the "Use a Crossfit.com WOD" link. Is it new, or did I just not see it before? In either case, I love it. Did the Filthy Fifty this morning, and saw your time from December - 22:13. Impressive!
Adding basketball is great! I was also thinking that with the all the firefighters, police and military who crossfit that our "job" training sometimes is a workout... for instance running around for three hours with an extra 50+ lbs. of weight on our bodies, never mind the work or training we are doing... What do you think? I also play beer league softball, but that doesn't belong on here! ;-) Thanks!
Nope, not a Windy City CFer. I pretty much work out in my garage/yard and at the firehouse. Saw the site and it looks about 100x better than logsitall, so I'm giving it a shot. Cheers!
I think you're missing a "/?" at the end of a regex somewhere - http://www.21-15-9.com/users/10 will get me to my user page, but ending that with a slash, http://www.21-15-9.com/users/10/, doesn't.
I don't know if you noticed anything in the logs, but I tried to post a couple of workouts on Tuesday morning, both of which resulted in errors.
